Pandemic Reponse Plan / Contagious Illness Response Policy

When is this Policy applied?

The Perdix Software Pandemic Response Plan / Contagious Illness Response Policy is applied during all periods of infectious disease outbreak, pandemic, or epidemic.

These events are accompanied by a declaration of emergency by Federal, State, or Local government.

During an application of this Policy, employees and visitors are requested to use their best judgment as to whether or not an in-office visit is required. When visiting any company office, employees and visitors must follow the In-Office Procedure.

Policy Activations / Applications

This Policy has been activated for:

• 2020-03-14 -- 2021-06-24
  COVID-19 Pandemic Emergency (as defined by the State of New York)

COVID-19 Update 2021-06-01:

Masks are no longer required.

COVID-19 Update 2021-05-20:

When in the office...

• Employees and visitors must wear a mask when within 6 feet of another individual.
• Masks are no longer required when at a distance greater than 6 feet.

When out on company business...

• Follow the masking policy of your host
• Err on the side of wearing a mask if there are ambiguous social cues

In-Office Procedure

Face Coverings:

When in the office, employees and visitors must practice physical isolation of at least 6 feet at all times, and wear a face covering, such as a mask.

When such isolation is not feasible, and extreme close proximity is required, all persons are encouraged to wear ANSI Z87.1 rated safety glasses or a spit shield / face shield in addition to a mask.

Perdix Software will make available consumable PPE relevant to the successful execution of this Pandemic Safety Plan; however, the use of reusable PPE is strongly encouraged. Employees needing to procure prescription or personal eyewear meeting the PPE requirements of this Plan should consult their manager.

Upon entering and exiting the office, employees and visitors must wash their hands thoroughly.

Beverages and snacks will continue to be provided; Employees must continue to observe sanitary precautions for handling food.

All box fans used for personal air circulation must be fitted with an air filter carrying a rating no less than MERV 13. Perdix Software will provide such filters.

Handshakes are a great way to do business. However, customs such as these, and others, may introduce an unacceptable level of personal risk. Please use mutual personal discretion to determine an acceptable greeting or other physical gesture as appropriate to the situation.
